Cambodian Blessing Dance is a Khmer traditional dance from the repertoire of Cambodian Classical Ballet to provide special holidays in Cambodia. This blessing dance was first performed in Cambodian to rid the royal palace of evil spirits and bless the royal kingdom. It was originally performed only for the king and queen, but today it is to perform to bless events and welcome guests in many good formal occasions. 

 

I learned the application of typographic principles across print and digital publication to bring the opportunity for the two to be dialogue with each other. By researching and selecting a Cambodian dance troupe from Lowell, Massachusetts, I was able to represent my art and culture on poster, booklet, app design and website. The learning outcomes result in organization to create dynamic screen-based graphics for different devices and print matters.
